2. Set concentration conditions
Protect a block where only the slice runs. Phone-down is a condition, not a personality. Length is whatever attention can hold. Pomodoro can sit beside this. It is not a substitute for a slice.
3. Get fast feedback
Coach, recording, test, or count. Delayed notes tomorrow are weaker than a signal in the session. If feedback is missing, say so and pick a proxy, labeled as assumed.
4. Raise difficulty after stability
If the slice still collapses, do not add speed or complexity. If it is stable, raise one variable. Repeating the easy version is rehearsal of the old habit.
